With all of the lies and B.S streaming out of D.C.c and the hysterical propaganda machines also known as the MSM, here are some excellent point made at Breitbart.com. The government, media and politicains are simply full of crap.
1. Sequestration cuts of $85 billion are impossibly painful, the equivalent of asking Uncle Sam to perform an appendectomy on himself with a nail file, but
2. ObamaCare adding $6.2 trillion to the deficit - nearly 75 times the size of the sequester - is no big deal... and even that new projection might under-estimate its cost, because
3. ObamaCare includes a massive expansion of Medicaid, which reluctant states like Florida, and now New Jersey, have been bribed to accept with bags of federal money, and
4. We're about to extend citizenship to a huge new population of people who will soon enough qualify for this expanded Medicaid coverage - it's inconceivable that their "access" to such programs will not be swiftly demanded, but
5. Obama's releasing waves of illegal immigrants from detention because he says that tiny sequestration spending cut makes it impossible to keep them in custody.
Take a bow, Mr. Alinsky.

Poster Of The Day
You may have heard some of the flap last week over DHS new range targets for the shooting training of its agents. These targets are made to desensitise the shooter when he or shes engages various threats. I know in theory how this is supposed to be, I have used the criminal thug targets in some of the classes that I've attended.
These though go beyond that and have caused outrage in some circles. This poster made by an unknown photo shopper shows 6 of the new target images.
You may draw your own conclusion as to the intent of DHS in requesting these particular images.

F-35 Grounded Again!
All 51of the mistake made F-35 A/C all models A,B, and C are grounded after a borescope inspection at Edwards AFB base on Friday made the discovery of cracked engine blades in the low pressure turbine. This is a potentially huge development for the Pratt and Whitney engine because of the location of the LPT down stream from the fan and the combuster it was not FOD that caused it but some kind of mechanical failure due to the high heat and stress environment.
Like I have said many times this program needs to be canceled now before the DOD blows all of our TACAIR budget on a plane that simply does not and cannot deliver on the promise made 20 years ago. This program demonstrates that corporate welfare and Pentagon mismanagement is alive and well.
History of previous F-35 groundings
May 2007: The first incident was recorded in May 2007, when the F-35A prototype AA-1 experienced an electrical short that disabled flight controls on the horizontal stabliser. A grounding was ordered and continued until December 2007, due to time needed to redesign several parts of the 270-volt electrical system and F-135 engine problems.
July 2008: On July 23, 2008, both flying F-35 prototypes were grounded after problems were detected with ground cooling fan electrical circuitry, DCMA reported on Aug 18, 2008 that tests were delayed as a result of testing anomalies on the 28 Volt and 270 Volt Battery Charger/Controller Unit, the Electrical Distribution Unit and the Power Distribution Unit. It was due to design problems. Flights were resumed first week of September-2008.
December 2008: On Dec 12, 2008 the F-35 was grounded again as a result of engine and ejection seat anomalies. Seat anomalies were observed in ejection seat sequence during an escape system test on Nov. 20, 2008. It took nearly 3 months to solve the problems and aircraft AA-1 did not return to the skies until Feb. 24, 2009.
May 2009: The F-35 fleet didn’t fly between May 7, 2009 (84th flight of prototype AA-1) and Jun 23, 2009. No comments were available from JPO or L-M.
October 2010: F-35 fleet grounded after the fuel pump shut down above 10,000ft (3,050m). The problem was caused by a software bug.
March 2011: The entire F-35 fleet was grounded some weeks after test aircraft AF-4 experienced a dual generator failure. After both generators shut down in flight, the IPP activated and allowed the F-35’s flight control system to continue functioning. The problem was traced to faulty maintenance handling.
June 2011: Carrier-based F-35C suspended from flying after engineers at NAS Patuxent River discovered a software problem that could have affected the flight control surfaces. Grounding was from 17 June until 23 June, 2011.
August 2011: A precautionary grounding of all 20 F-35s that had reached flying status was ordered Aug. 3, 2011 after a valve in the Integrated Power Package (IPP) of F-35A test aircraft AF-4 failed. On 18 August 2011 the flight ban was lifted to allow monitored operations. A permanent resolution would be installed later.
January 2012: 15 Lockheed Martin F-35s are grounded for about 12 days to repack improperly installed parachutes (reversed 180 degrees from design). The grounded aircraft are equipped with new versions of the Martin Baker US16E ejection seat, designated as -21 and -23.
January 2013: The F-35B STOVL variant was grounded Jan 18, 2013 after detection of a failure of a fueldraulic line in the aircraft's propulsion system. The Pentagon cleared all 25 F-35B aircraft to resume flight tests on February 12, 2013. Problem caused by a manufacturing quality problem (wrongly crimped fuel line).
February 2013: On Feb. 21, 2013, the Pentagon ordered a grounding for all F-35 aircraft, after a routine check at the Edwards Air Force Base revealed a crack in a low pressure turbine blade in an engines of a F-35A.

Another Good One (Video)
Since Obama and his media lackey's are incapable in telling the truth about firearms here is another video showing what different semi automatic weapons look like and can do. It starts of with the hysterical lies of Obama, Feinstien, Morgan and other leftists before continuing on to an actual shooting demonstration at the NRA indoor range conducted by a professional shooter.
I have to agree with the professional shooter in regards to the effectiveness of a 12 gauge shotgun. A 12 gauge is simply devastating in close, especially at ranges that are encountered in most home defense scenarios.
The useful idiot Biden was called out for his reference today as he went of the leftist script of having a shotgun instead of an AR. I found it humorous especially his comment of shooting a few shots outside. While I agree with him that a shotgun is a good choice for home defense, an AR is equally useful and can be used in a wide range of application for home defense, recreation and hunting.
I will emphasize once again, the lefts agenda has nothing to do with violence prevention or safety, it is all about control. They are truly horrified with the thought of an armed populace standing in their way to implement further their tyrannical socialism for our society. They also know that if our financial system does suffer a breakdown because of the polices of unregulated fiat printing they do not want and armed populace to ab able to hold them responsible for their actions.
Here is the idiot Biden during his interview with Parent Magazine. The worst is his two blast comment. You never fire a warning shot, if you are going to use a weapon it is shoot to kill. I've been taught this for years not only in the military but in all the civilian defense training I have had. You are responsible for any projectile, bullet or shot that you fire, hence why you don't fire a warning shot because God knows were it will end up espically if fired in the air.

The AD too Controversial For Clear Channel
Here is the ad that Clear Channel deemed to controversial. Personally I don't see the problem, probably because I'm a student of history and gun rights.

Chris Cox and the NRAILA
Chris Cox the spokesmen for the NRAILA has a great message out on gun regestration.
It comes a a time when the leftest throughout the country, in Washington state, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado and other states and of course at the Federal level are trying to grab your guns through subterfuge. The state government lackeys are talking their marching orders from the fools in the beltway. None of these proposals will reduce gun violence but instead dupe the public into believing that these reasonable restrictions or registration schemes will assist in public safety.
Instead it will do nothing, criminals will not follow any law and all that registration does is set up the scenario were at the whim of Washington guns could and would be confiscated. Anyone who believes this cannot happen have been asleep the last decade. Ever since 9/11 the government through the need of so called public safety have instead infringed on everyone civil rights. From the disgusting mis-named Patriot Act, the growth and expansion of Homeland Security and the use of drones over the USA they are turning this once freedom loving nation into a fascist police state.
Our current leaders of both parties are marching down a very thin line. I truly believe there is a silent majority out in the hinterlands. Many are veterans like myself who can't believe what is happening but will make a stand when push comes to shove.
I would like to know what Washington is really gearing up for? They have ordered over 1 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition over the last six months, they continue to militarize local police departments. Maybe Mark Levine is right and they are preparing for the resulting trouble due to a financial collapse that will happen. If this is the case you can then understand the hypocrites at all levels of governments desire to try and control gun ownership. It's because when the trouble comes they know that they will be held responsible for the mess that they have created and allowed to happen.

Never Forget
It case you all were still wondering if Obama and his administration are all hhypocrites. here is a little blast from the past when Obama stood against raising the debt limit. Looks like Senator Present was trying to make a little political hay back then. Of course now deficits are OK, that is until the whole economy crashes due to fiat currency printing.
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
Senator Barack Obama (D-IL)
Speech Given on U.S. Senate Floor Objecting To Raising Debt Ceiling Limit

Official National Debt at that time: 8 trillion USD
Here is a nice little short from Greece. I can't wait for the video out of Argentina next month as the food stocks dry up, and God forbid what will happen in large U.S. urban area's if food gets tight or when inflation really gets going this spring.

Rafale in Mali ops
Here is a video I found on the French Air Force deploying the Rafale to Chad for Mali ops. Since I love TACAIR its great to see the menacing Rafale.I hope the French keep the pressure up on these Islamic rebels and crush them with the boot of the Legion to send a message. Maybe the French government understands now what a mistake it was to try appeasement and allow all of the Arabs to immigrate into France.
Bears Near Guam
An interesting article, Russian TU-95 Bears were intercepted by USAF F-15 Eagles off of Guam just prior to the SCFOAMF State of the union address. I'm not surprised as we slide further towards the abyss, I expect our old rivals to be even more aggressive, since the Obama administration has proved time and time again that they incapable of handling any real conflict.

Today In U.S. Military History
Today in 1814 the U.S.S. Constitution captured and destroyed destroyed the HMS Pictou and captured the armed merchantmen Lovely Anne. The Constitution which remains in Naval Service today was responsible for capturing or destroying five British warships during the war of 1812.
It was during this conflict that the Constitution picked up the nickname Old Ironsides when it battled the HMS Guerriere.

North Korea conducts nuclear test: South Korea defense ministry
Looks like the Genie is really out of the bottle now on the Korean peninsula. After a recent successful rocket launch it appears that the Boys fron the North have conducted a successful underground test.
South Korea's defence ministry said that North Korea conducted a nuclear test on Tuesday after seismic activity measuring 4.9 magnitude was registered by the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicentre of the seismic activity, which was only one km below the Earth's surface, was close to the North's known nuclear test site.
So what will Obama do? If like Benhghazi nothing and the world will spiral even further out of control, Foward.

Lincoln Refueling Delay?
That Naval Institute announced over the weekend that there is the possibility of a delay in the Lincolns refuel and overhaul because of sequestration cuts to DoD budget.
If this is the case then the Admirals and their staff should all be fired for doing no planning. The United States government is broke and the Dod wastes an unbelievable pile of cash you can see this in failed programs like the F-35 and the Navy LCS program. Of course most of these announcements are used to start hysteria, because after all these programs are to big to cut. To think that no one was planning ahead is just inexcusable.
Here are some money quotes from the article.
Lincoln was scheduled to be moved to Huntington Ingalls Industries’ (HII) Newport News Shipyard later this month to begin the 4-year refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) of the ship.
“This delay is due to uncertainty in the Fiscal Year 2013 appropriations bill, both in the timing and funding level available for the first full year of the contract,” the message said.
CVN-72 will remain at Norfolk Naval Base where the ships force personnel will continue to conduct routine maintenance until sufficient funding is received for the initial execution of the RCOH.”
Of course the local Congress critter is all upset because the shipyard that will do the work is in his dirstict'
Forbes called the delay, “another example of how these reckless and irresponsible defense cuts in Washington will have a long-term impact on the Navy’s ability to perform its missions. Not only will the Lincoln be delayed in returning to the Fleet, but this decision will also affect the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) defueling, the USS George Washington (CVN-73) RCOH, and future carrier readiness.”
The move by the navy is the second this week involving funding for carriers. On Wednesday it announced it would delay the deployment of the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) to the Middle East do to the ongoing budget strife bringing the total number of carriers in U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) to one until funding normalizes.
Reckless defense cuts my ass, it amounts to less than 3% of the projected budget each year going out ten years. But there is never any truth coming out of D.C.

The Specialist on a Red Ball
Red Ball maintenance happens when one of our glorious Air Force pilots has a system problem, normally avionics and the specialist comes out and attempts to get a fix before taxi. As an old retired avionics technician I can not count how many hundred times I had to deal with know it all pilots who simply would not follow instructions from the ground. It must be a generational thing, back in the 80;s we had tons of Vietnam veteran former F-4 drivers flying F-15s almost to the man they cooperated and really helped us trying to get a fix on their jet. In the 90's up until a I retired it became the exact opposite. I've never dealt with guys who thought they knew more than they did own systems. When I was a specialist flight chief as a Master Sergent I personally would have to get on the head set and explain to the crew of an F-15E what we were prepared to do and what I needed them to do for a successfull fix. I ended up ground aborting many aircraft that when we finally got on it to do ground checks were found to be functioning normally.
The classic "sir it doesn't work in O.F.F. mode"
This animation capture the moment, and yes we are specialist not crew chiefs, I was cross utilized trained as an F-15C crew chief but I was an avionics technician first.

Joke Of the Day
I found this humorous since our Congress is completely dysfunctional.
A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway outside Washington, DC. Nothing was moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.
The driver rolls down the window and asks, "What's going on?"
"Terrorists have kidnapped the entire US Congress, and they're asking for a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they're going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We're going from car to car, collecting donations."
"How much is everyone giving, on an average?" the driver asks.
The man replies, "Roughly a gallon"
