Colion Noir and the NRA

Very nice presentation by Mr. Noir. I want to see the usual suspects debate this mans views. I can tell you this, it will never happen

One Great Ad

This ad by Glock is still one of my favorites. What the left will not admit too is their are people who well prey on you and do you harm. You the individual must be willing to fight to protect yourself, your family and other innocents.

Be a sheepdog not a sheep.

We Have Met The Enemy

We have met the enemy and it is us. -- Pogo

I truly believe that the Cyprus crisis had lit the fuse for the eventual credit collapse in Europe that will dramatically impact the United States.
Of course it doesn't help when idiots like Speaker of the House John Boehner can make the statement agreeing with the tool also known as Obama.

“We do not have an immediate debt crisis,” the Ohio Republican said on ABC’s “This Week.”

I guess almost 17 trillion in debt and Bernenke printing at light speed and the U.S being a  bank run away from a financial collapse is simply not enough to make these so called leaders do the right thing.

I really think it's to late to change course, the only real question is how hard the landing is going to be.

New Yorks Finest?

Here is a great picture taken at the seen at the standoff  in Herkimer NY.\

If you notice the intrepid LEO with the AR has his Eotech installed backwards and it sure looks like he has his gloved finger in the trigger guard. What is really funny is these are the men that the left seem to want to trust with firearms not just us old retired Vets and trained civilians. It also apears that they are not wearing any hearing protection in, but they may be wearing customs that you can't see in this photo.

WWII Army Sniper Honored At FT Benning

An 86 year old WWII veteran Army sniper was honored by the Army Marksmanship Unit at Ft Benning GA by being one of the very few people not in the unit to ever be awarded the Black Hat.

He then showed he still has it by using a replica of his WWII Springfield sniper rifle going 3 hits for three shots at 300 yards and 3 for three, all head shots at 1000 yards with the units new equipment.

This is a prime example of why big Sis and the left in D.C. are scared to death of veterans. There are millions of men out there who have a tremendous amount of skill and training who remain law abiding working citizens who grow more and more disgusted every day with D.C. and our idiot politicians on both sides of the aisle who are tearing this country apart.

The Shoes Of The Fisherman

Air Force suspends military tuition assistance

In a move that I felt was coming, the Air Force today suspended tuition assistance programs. This is just another kick in the teeth and the only folks who get screwed are as usual the enlisted force.

For a service that has poured countless billions in cost overruns for a failed weapons development program, like the F-35 the amount of money saved by this cut in minuscule in comparison.

What truly amazes me is with all the money that has been wasted in various development and upgrade programs no General officers in charge are ever held responsible. Instead due to their mismanagement of these programs we get the usual crap from Donnaly and CMSAF Cody. Both these men should be ashamed once again all the armed forces including the Air Force put new systems ahead of the people that make it happen every day the enlisted force.

TA is near and dear to me. I would not have the job I work today if it had not been for TA money that allowed me to finish my B.S. degree before I retired.

It will come back eventually but it;s too bad the Air Force leadership made no plans with budget cuts looming.

Patrick Henry, "We Must Fight" 23 March 1775

Patrick Henry's speech from 23 March 1775, preformed at Colonial Williamsburg.
Less than 1 month later, British troops attempted to disarm the colonists at Lexington and Concord. You all know the rest of the story, they were defeated and sent packing by shopkeepers, farmers and tradesmen, The Minutemen.

Today In U.S. Military History

The first Air Cadets from Tuskegee were graduated today to begin the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. These men formd the core of the new 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bomb Group.  Throughout the war the Red Tails of the 332nd provided escort and fighter bomber action in the Southern European theatre destroying 112 enemy aircraft in the air.
The 99th legacy lives on with the 99th Training Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX.
