B-52 MITO

Ten Buffs from Minot AFB practicing a (MITO) minimum interval take off. This was bread and butter exercise during the cold war SAC days. This was to give the alert crews practice getting off as fast as they could after the horn blew. We had a resident SAC bombardment wing and associated tankers at my first duty station Mather AFB CA. This type of flying happened regularly, once the alert force launched during a Global Shield exercise about 2 AM one morning. Needless to say for the first few minutes no one knew it was an exercise and the alert force was gone climbing north over downtown Sacramento. They must have vibrated folks out of the beds in the neighborhoods that night.

Benghazi Cover Up

Dan Pfeiffer another lying scum bag Obama aid refuses to answer Chris Wallace's questions on Sunday in regards to the Presidents actions and whereabouts during the attack.

This White House has a lot to answer for and they refuse to step up and tell the truth, whatever they are hiding I guarantee is much worse than the four dead Americans which is bad enough.

Funny thing is I'm old enough to remember the Watergate and the flip flopping that Nixon and his aides did. This is a carbon copy repeat but with four body bags to show for it. If the press wasn't so far in the bag for this guy they would be like sharks in the water in search of a Pulitzer.

Below is the video.

Dam Busters

This week the RAF commemorative flight recreated the raids on the Ruhr Dams that occured seventy years ago by preforming flypasts  on Derwent Dam in Derbyshire, The Battle of Britain’s last Lancaster, from the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, make three runs over the Derwent Dam.

These raids were used to cut the power to the industrial heart of the Third Reich. The daring flights were made by 617 Squadron flying Lancaster's that dropped a specially designed bomb that skipped on the water and settled to the base of the dam after contact before going off. Out of 19 aircraft that were dispatched on the mission, 8 were lost and a total of 53 of the 153 airmen were killed. The mission resulted in both primary dam trgets being breached.

Here is a video taken from the flight

Last A-10 Sortie In USAFE

Tuesday marked the last operational sortie of A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft in Europe. The three ship sortie was flown by the 81st FS out of Spangdahlem AB Germany and was flown over Fulda. The old cold warriors out there will remember this is why the A-10 was built and deployed to USAFE, to defend against a Warsaw Pact armoured thrust through the Fulda Gap.

Initial deployment of the A-10 to USAFE was in 1979 to the 81st FW at the twin base's at RAF Bentwaters and Woodbridge in the U.K. The A-10 would eventually equip six squadrons and operated not only in England but also from  four forward operating locations  Sembach, Leipheim, Alhorn and Norvenich Air Bases in West Germany.

The last remaining A-10's will depart Germany on Friday bound for Moody AFB, GA ending 34 years of A-10 operation in USAFE.

Judge Jeanine on Benghazi

Judge Jeanine goes a great job in analysis of the Benghazi debacle. She cuts right to the core in her eleven minute piece.

I sincerely hope that the House and Senate gets off their dead butts and does a proper job uncovering the facts behind this mess.
The liars are plentiful, Obama, Rice, Clinton, Panetta all are culpable for this disaster and dead Americans and they should be held accountable for their actions. The media should be ashamed of themselves, they are all such shills for the Obama administration they allow what appears to be a political move and cover up 6 weeks before an election to stand in the way of sending in a rescue team.
This good be the beginning of the end for this sorry administration.

Benghazi, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) at Todays hearing

Testimony you will not see on the worthless MSM. Rep Gowdy did a great job and hats off to Mr Hicks for stepping forward, Bottom line Americans died at the hands of a jihadist attack. A Special Forces 4 man team including a medic was ordered to stand down in Tripoli instead of boarding a Lybian C-120. God only knows what other assets were recalled that might have been en route. Tyrone Woods and his partner thought they had TACAIR available, nothing else can explain why they were lasing the motor crews.

I've said for months that this situation is rotten and it goes all the way to the top. This incident is much worse than Watergate because we have four dead Americans. The media and this administration must be held accountable for this lack of leadership in the administration and the lack of oversight by a lap dog liberal media.

Jim Rogers and Ron Paul

These two guys get it economically, heed their warning.

George Mason Founding Father

George Mason back in 1788 described our current worthless Senate members in one of his famous quotes. I wonder how he knew:)?

"Those gentlemen, who will be elected senators, will fix themselves in the federal town, and become citizens of that town more than of your state." --George Mason, speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 1788
