Mr. Bones at Sphangdahlem

F-22 Raptors from the 95th Fighter Squadron, Mr Bones deployed last week to Sphangdahlem Air Base, Germany from Tyndall AFB, Fl. 

I believe this deployment would fall under the Air Combat Commands Rapid Raptor deployment plans that have been exercised in the pacific. This deployment marks the first one of its kind to USAFE.

I for one am glad to see Mr Bones activated again.

Roll Tide

College football is back and the Crimson Tide looked good. Derick Henry simply out muscled and shredded the Wisconsin defense. The Alabama defense line showed the wall that they are shutting down what is usually one of the top NCAA rushing teams, they were totally dominate.
With a defense that should only get better maybe the fear will start creeping back into opponents hearts.

This was the headline 70 years ago today when Japan surrendered to the Allies on the deck of the U.S.S. Missouri.
