Honduran Military Ousts Leftist President (Update)

Looks Like Obama is agreeing with his pals. Ortega, the Castro brothers and Chavez. The Honduran military was taking direction from the Honduran Supreme Court to remove Zelaya. How is it our President who won't help the Iranians dissidents has no problem condemning the removal of a left wing thug. Birds of a feather flock together.

U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday the coup that ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was illegal and would set a "terrible precedent" of transition by military force unless it was reversed.

"We believe that the coup was not legal and that President Zelaya remains the president of Honduras, the democratically elected president there," Obama told reporters after an Oval Office meeting with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe
.

Saturday all hell broke loose in Honduras as its military stepped up the plate and defended its constitution and sent into exile leftist Chavez clone Manuel Zelaya. This story also has had very little play by the MSM as Obama had a very tepid response to the point of seemingly backing the leftest who want to change the Honduran constitution.

Great comments from Ace of spades below
The Honduran military defends the Honduran Constitution.
Obama sees that and gets pissed.
Coming here soon.

Yep, in other words the Honduran military did it's job, lets hope ours will too when it's time.

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Celebrities Deaths Gives Media Cover to Ignore Iran

The uprising in Iran has continued daily but you would never know it watching the MSM. It is unfortunate that people we should be supporting are simply ignored while the MSM goes into overdrive with Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett’s passing. Here is an excerpt from the Canadian Free Press written by Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs fame. Click the title for the whole article.

As sad as the passing of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson is, the media is breathing a heavy sigh of relief (as I am sure the President is as well). Entire newscasts are now being devoted to these “superstars” – and sadly missing from the nightly newscast is the latest on the hundreds killed, possibly thousands detained and injured while marching for freedom in Iran. These freedom fighters are the true superstars.

Iranian Students Attacked by Police Video

More footage out of Iran,. Check out Liveleak.com for more of the handheld videos.
I have to warn you first that some are graphic of shooting victims.

Iran In Chaos

It’s almost like 1979 again when the worst President ever Jimmy Carter let the Shah go down the tubes and ushered in 30 years of Islamic fundamentalist nut jobs, It’s a crying shame that the population has been disarmed or events towards the downfall of the government might be speeded up. Makes you wonder why the left here is always trying to get our guns. We know why because that with the guns makes the rules.
You have to hope that elements of the Iranian regular Army say enough and back up the green revolution,
See Gateway Pundit and Atlas shrugs for excellent coverage

IAF Over Auschwitz

A very moving missing man flyover that was done in Sept 2003. I hope copies were sent to the nut jobs that run Iran.

PJ's and Combat Control

A decent video showing PJ's and CCT men in various training evolutions. These men and some from a few other select AFSC's in my opinion are the only true warriors left in the AF. The rest whether they want to admit or not are just support technicians like I was in aircraft maintenance. Our job was to make it work so men like this can get the job done on the ground.

PJ's

From the Air Force art collection PJ's depicted doing what they do best saving lives.

Turkish Air Force F-4E

It's good to see Phantoms still flying in active service with the Turkish AF at least for a few more years.I've said for years that the USAF made a huge mistake retiring the F-4G Advanced Wild Weasels in the mid 90's. I was on the last Southern Watch rotation in 94 with the Idaho ANG F-4G's and I can say that these jets were some of the finest maintained aircraft I have ever seen.

Continental Pilot Dies Airborne

A Continental Airlines Captain of a Boeing 777 enroute from Brussels to Newark died in the cockpit of apparent natural causes mid-way through the flight. The flight officer and another pilot who was deadheading completed the rest of the flight to a uneventful landing in Newark.

Obama Care

This poster is pretty good, to bad it's probably very close to being right. The last thing we need now is more goverment intervention.

D-Day Jube 6, 1944

Today is the 65th anniversary of the D-day invasion that marked the beginning of the liberation of Europe from the Nazi's. Allied forces led by the U.S and Great Britain stormed ashore at a great loss of life. I hope Obama does not say anything stupid to dishonor the memory of the hero's that went ashore or dropped from the sky this day.

Air France A330 down

An Air France Airbus A 330 has crashed in the mid Atlantic while enroute from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, The plane which had 228 passengers and crew had reported an electrical short circuit while flying through stormy weather prior to contact being lost.
God Bless the passengers and crew.
I recently flew Air France to Paris while enroute to Scotland on a 777-300ER and could not have asked for a better flight.
